I’m sorry, I don’t know how to tell you this, but we have no record of that message taking place. I know you’ve sent me a copy, and a screenshot, but we can’t see anything on our end. I don’t know who sent you that message, but it was not a registered user. I don’t know how to explain what happened.

Well find it dammit! Who was on IT last night? Did they scrub the logs? How was I contacted by our private chat, without you having any record of it! First the emails, and now this, how are you not able to find whichever user is sending these!

Ma’am, I’m terribly sorry, but we are doing everything we can. As much as I wish it wasn’t the case, there was no one at the IT desk at the time you sent us your email. In fact, our stations had been turned off. IT did not erase the logs.
