Arianna,
I can’t keep this hidden from the public forever! Today they began asking me explicit questions that got uncomfortably close to the origin of our technology. Sooner or later someone is going to ask the right question, and I’m not going to be able to answer. How the hell am I supposed to keep myself afloat after this?

Edward,
We technically did nothing illegal, I’ve been telling you that from the beginning. Code that is stored in open source is free use to anyone, and you don’t know who put that code in that publicly accessible drive folder. Therefore, you are not legally at fault for any theft. Now stop stressing about it, you’re going to give me a hernia by proxy.

Arianna,
I feel like that is a massive “technicality”. All the same, make sure to have all documents ready in case things go south fast.

Edward,
If anyone accuses us of anything, I have the counter-suits forms already filled out. I promise you, we will squash any potential legal action before they can even start.
