I’m looking over this repo you sent over, and while I would agree that most of it is usable within our system, I would be concerned about using it. Just because it’s labeled as free use does not necessarily mean that someone can’t try to come after us if they discover we have built an entire shard off of it. The fact that it doesn’t have a read me with a free use rights clause makes me concerned about utilizing it.

Tell you what, I will spend the next few days scouring the sight to establish the legality of us using it. I will also draft up some protection rights in case anything goes wrong. However, with how common generative AI is becoming, my guess is we can argue for reasonable doubts that our tech does something similar.
