I am letting you all know I will be out of the office for the next two months. I have heart surgery scheduled for next week, and I need about two months of recovery. I will still be able to work from home just fine and will be handling all management activities that I can. However, unfortunately, the nature of the heart surgery will mean that I will not be able to take on much workload, as stress could prove fatal. Therefore, the board and I have decided to appoint Jeremy Solts as my temporary representative for any procedures I am not able to oversee. Please contact him where possible.

I wanted to follow this up with an unfortunate announcement, it seems I will need an additional three months before I can come back into the office. The surgery did not fix my heart the way they expected it to, and it’s going to take extra time to heal. The board of directors will convene to decide how to proceed within the next few days.
