Dr. Kimball initially conceived of the potential of AI in 2017 after studying the uses of AI technology within the field of code-breaking and decryption. He would go on to found AITIS in the summer of 2021. Though he initially started studying AI-powered applications within the field of code-breaking, he quickly found the broader application of his technology. He then hired a full team to experiment with different AI technologies. Unfortunately, Dr. Kimball passed away in September of 2023 due to sickness, but Jeremy Solts quickly filled the void left behind. Ever since this transition, Solts has been attempting to fulfill Dr. Kimball’s dream of exploring the application and usage of AI.
